Grey Cardinal provided Project Management services for the Halifax International Airport Authority during the design, construction, and commissioning of a Vino Volo Restaurant. Vino Volo is an 1100 square foot restaurant/bar featuring local wines, beers and appetizers. This restaurant contains seating for 40 guests in an open and inviting atmosphere. Reclaimed wood was used to construct built-in wine bottle displays and a trellis suspended from the perimeter bulkheads. Also, in the scope of work was demolition of the existing space, new HVAC, electrical, and revisions to the sprinkler system.
