
Bia Mara
Grey Cardinal acted as the Owner’s Project Manager for the design, construction, and commissioning of the Bia Mara Restaurant. We reviewed the design and recommended changes to ensure it complied with the HIAA standards and policies. The restaurant features hanging rope dividers between booths and a unique ceiling design, combining exposed wood beams with a suspended t-bar system. This restaurant is located in the departures area, post security screening, which added to the complexity of the build, as all workers and materials must be cleared before starting work each day.
