Overview
Fostering the strong tradition of interdisciplinary collaboration, research and innovation at Saint Mary’s University, the EDI Hub project consists of a 42,700 sf building linked to the east side of the Sobey Building and wrapped into the south side of the Loyola Academic Building, with 2,000 sf of renovations to the existing Sobey Building. Additionally, the Loyola Academic Building will have a 7,500 sf addition to the east side and 8,700 sf interior renovation to existing spaces connected with the addition.
The new building(s) will be designed to LEED® standards and will feature multiple interdisciplinary facilities and resources where students, faculty, staff and the business community will connect and work together to foster discovery, innovation and commercialization.
