Project Description
This project involved the construction of a 40,000 sq. ft. light industrial/commercial building located in Burnside Industrial Park, a prominent commercial hub. The work included the complete development of the base building and surrounding site infrastructure to meet client operational requirements and industry standards.
Key components of the project scope included:
- Base building construction using concrete tilt-up panels for durability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Site preparation including grading and earthworks to ensure proper building foundation and drainage.
- Installation of site services including utilities, access roads, and service connections.
- Landscaping to enhance site appearance and meet municipal requirements.
As Project Manager, responsibilities included resource management, coordination with the client, design team, and trades, and oversight of budget, schedule, and communications to ensure seamless project delivery.
